We manufactured a variety of black granite hearths and back panels in a U.K factory and can make virtually any size or shape you require.
We outline here the two standard sizes used by the fireplace industry to fit most wooden, plaster, etc surrounds.
Legally for Gas fires the black granite hearth has to be supplied with a Boxed and lipped profile. This is the most popular edge profile (as photographed) and gives a chunky appearance.
For electric fires you can choose between the flat 20 mm hearth or the 57 mm high boxed and lipped hearth, both are suitable.
The standard back panel is 37 in x 37 in x 20 mm thick and comes with a standard cut out 16.5 inch [419 mm] wide x 22.5 inch [571 mm ] high. This cut out fits most electric and gas fires. You need to measure the back of your fire , behind the frame to make sure it fits.
If you need a black granite hearth made to measure to cover an existing cut out in your carpet or flooring then please measure the dimensions required and contact us for a quote.
